If you haven't been to a BNI meeting yet, you probably not sure if you want to start a chapter. Don't worry, we are here to help. Below you will find an existing 90 minute BNI meeting condenced into 4 minutes. The video shows you what each of the BNI meeting components are and how they work in action.
BNI has a 4 phase program to create, develop, train, and charter a new chapter. Our staff of Directors facilitates a proven and successful program to create new chapters. To qualify to participate, you will need to attend one of our starter meetings held in your area to explain our program and answer your questions.
This “starter meeting” is called our SHOWCASE MEETING and features a regular BNI chapter meeting followed by a 60 minute BNI Director workshop. This BNI Director workshop is mandatory for all members of each group because we explain and discuss the “BNI Process” to charter a new chapter. We will answer all questions and provide you the guideline and timetable required to pursue development of a new chapter.
YOU SHOULD SCHEDULE 3 HOURS FOR THE SHOWCASE MEETING AND BNI DIRECTOR WORKSHOP. ATTENDEES ARE REQUESTED TO REGISTER ON-LINE TO INSURE WE WILL HAVE SPACE AND MATERIALS TO ACCOMMODATE EVERYONE. GO TO THE EVENT CALENDAR TO REGISTER.
We will provide all required materials, details, coaching and follow-up to assist you and your associates in the formation of a new BNI chapter.

1. SEE BNI FOR YOURSELF - ATTEND A SHOWCASE CHAPTER MEETING followed by a 60 minute BNI Director Workshop explaining processes and requirements of starting new chapters, and have your questions answered.
2. You and all prospective members of your group attend one of the monthly Showcase Chapters meetings/BNI Director Workshops to learn about BNI in person before completing application and payment.
3. Showcase Chapter meetings monthly (every 4-6 weeks) let you attend a model BNI chapter meeting and afterward meet with a BNI Director who explains the steps necessary to pull together a networking support team to charter a new chapter. Attending this BNI Director Workshop is a requirement for every member of the forming group.

5. YOU are entered into our Chapter Forming records when your Application for Membership and fee payment are received in the Regional Office. When your group reaches 6 people we will list you on our website as an officially recognized forming group with permission to conduct weekly meetings to recruit others to your group. Professions represented in your group will be listed also.
6. BNI provides materials and a chapter development plan at the Showcase Workshop to help you locate 5-7 fellow core founders. The weekly meetings are solely to recruit the remainder of the team members required to start the Core Team program. Timetables for this process with “target dates” will set by your Director to insure that your group develops in a positive and timely manner. Achieving this will require enthusiasm and your members' willingness to follow our program.
7. BNI GUIDANCE. After we receive your fourth application our Director will work with your group and set a target date date to reach the 18-20 members required to begin the 8 week Core Team training resulting in the charter of your chapter.
8. BNI TRAINING. Core Group training is an 12 week training program conducted by a BNI Director. The conclusion of this course is a chartered chapter with 25-35 members.
