Belonging to BNI is like having dozens of sales people working for you because all the other members carry several copies of your business cards around with them. When they meet someone who could use your products or services they hand your card out and recommend your services. BNI is a business and professional organization that allows only one person from each professional category to join a chapter. It’s as simple as that!
It’s simple because it’s based on the proven concept of “what goes around comes around.” If I help you, you’ll help me and we will both benefit as a result. BNI in North Alabama
BNI Northern Alabama was founded in 1997. Currently there are 28 chapters (See Find a Chapter), with several forming in many different areas (see Chapters Forming).
Meaghan Williams is the Executive Director for BNI Northern Alabama. Recognizing the potential to help businesses, the BNI Northern Alabama directors are working to develop chapters in 29 counties: Blount, Cahoun, Cherokee, Clay, Cleburn, Colbert, Cullman, De Kalb, Etowah, Fayette, Franklin, Jackson, Jefferson, Lamar, Lauderdale, Lawrence, Limestone, Madison, Marion, Marshall, Morgan, Pickens, Randolph, Shelby, St. Clair, Talladega, Tuscaloosa, Walker and Winston. In order to maintain a high level of support to members while developing new chapters, BNI Northern Alabama has a team of Directors. This team is made up of members who embody BNI's givers gain philosophy. The Directors visit, educate and support other chapters and members while maintaining commitment to their own chapters.
