Visiting BNI
Interested in learning more? You might want to visit one of our chapters to see how BNI could work for your business. You can make that happen with just three easy steps.
Find a Chapter using our chapter directory.
- Consider visiting a chapter that does not have your position filled. You can find a list of a chapter with your profession available by clicking here. Also consider visiting a chapter that has positions that compliment your profession. Click Show Professions link on the chapter listing to see what professional classifications are represented in the chapter.
Contact the chapter president to confirm the meeting time and location. You will find that on the chapter information page They will be ready to welcome you at the door if you RSVP.

- Regular Newsletters with educational material on networking, public speaking and business.
- Opportunities to participate in cross chapter networking events and social functions.
- Free periodic workshops on networking, and much more…
Networking requires commitment. The most successful chapters of BNI are comprised of participants who are sincerely committed to helping one another through networking. They are a team. As a participant in BNI, you are responsible for complying with the policies and guidelines of the organization. In the event that BNI's general rules could potentially violate a profession's
ethical code, BNI's rules are superseded by the dictates of the professional's ethics code.
A partial list of the policies of BNI are listed below:
- Only one person from each professional specialty is permitted to join a chapter of BNI.
- Attendance is critical. If you cannot attend a meeting, you may send a substitute.
- Participation in the chapters is key to the success of the chapter. Members can participate by bringing bona-fide referrals and/or visitors to their chapter of BNI.
In a strong contact or hard contact organization such as BNI, only one person is allowed to join per professional specialty. Once you are accepted as a member, your competition is locked out of your chapter!
